A Variable reluctance wheel speed sensor used in conjunction with a Ferro Magnetic 52 tooth tone wheel. This Sensor is for use in car and light commercial vehicles in Anti-Lock Braking and Traction Control Systems.
The sensor is of a two-pole design with the magnetic circuit fully encapsulated. The usual mounting configuration to the hub utilises a fixed position, non-adjustable, clamping system.
